Course Description: This upgrade Lean Six Sigma course prepares participants to move from the role of a LSS Yellow Belt to that of a LSS Green Belt.
This curriculum is formatted and delivered to add to the present skill set of the Yellow Belt such that competency is moved to the level of a Green Belt. By utilizing various Statistical and Business Improvement tools participants can clearly see and communicate the flow and process of the methodology in order to instill both the tactical and strategic aspects of the LSS Green Belt skill set.
Various group exercises utilizing training aids, pre-formatted data sets and templates facilitate interactive group learning within a class.
Course and Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, you will be able to understand the various phases involved in becoming a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: Define Phase, Measure Phase, Analyze Phase, Improve Phase, Control Phase. This includes learning how to:
- Determine root causes
- Identify and collect relevant data
- Identify your current Process Capability
- Select the right projects
- Measure as well as identify customer requirements
- Architect and test solutions
- Implement sustainable improvements

About the Examination: The IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) Exam is a 3 hour, multiple choice, true/false, 100 question, proctored exam.
In order to achieve the professional designation of IASSC Certified Green Belt (ICGB) from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification individuals must sit for the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam and achieve a passing score that is calculated based on points earned in the exam.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of study and certification as an IASSC Certified Yellow Belt
Credits: 70 PDU’s
Target Audience: Practicing Yellow Belts who wish to become process experts, team members and project leaders for smaller projects and who will support Black Belts with data collection.
