Course Description: This upgrade Lean Six Sigma course prepares participants to move from the role of a LSS Green Belt to that of a Black Belt. Through this course you will learn the critical elements for Black Belt certification. Black Belt certification holders have demonstrated their knowledge and capabilities through experience and skill and understand how to add value to any organization working with Lean Six Sigma.

Course and Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, you will be able to understand the various elements involved in becoming a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. This includes learning how to:
- Define and decide on sampling strategies and confidence intervals
- Understand the difference between long term and short term process capabilities
- Understand and implement process discovery
- Measure waste, re-work and scrap through yield metrics
- Create and analyze data control charts for discrete and continuous data
- Create and analyze experiments
- Perform advanced process modeling
- Understand and implement Lean controls
- Understand Statistical Process Control concepts
Certification track: This Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Black Belt DMAIC course prepares participants to perform the role of a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training Materials have a comprehensive curriculum covering everything within the Lean Six Sigma D-M-A-I-C Body of Knowledge required to successfully prepare students to achieve Black Belt certifications and performance standards.

About the Examination: The IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) Exam is a 4 hour, 150 question multiple choice and true/false proctored exam.
In order to achieve the professional designation of IASSC Certified Black Belt (ICBB) from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification individuals must sit for the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Exam and achieve a passing score that is calculated based on points earned in the exam.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of study and certification as an IASSC Certified Green Belt
Credits: 175 PDU’s
Target Audience: Practicing Green Belts who wish to learn the highly sophisticated skills associated with being capable of solving highly complex process challenges related to satisfying a customer. This role leads projects through team involvement and reports to senior management.
