Course Description:

This ILT course will prepare students for the CompTIA CTT+ certification exam. Students will learn how to plan and prepare to teach a course, and how to select and implement various delivery methods. They'll also learn how to demonstrate professional conduct and content expertise, how to use communication and presentation skills to facilitate learning, and how to establish and maintain a learner-centered environment. Finally, they'll learn techniques for evaluating learner performance throughout an event and techniques for evaluating their training performance and delivery of a course.
CompTIA CTT+ certification is the credential recognizing excellence in instruction. It is a vendor-neutral certification that is applicable to training professionals in all industries. CompTIA CTT+ proves the mastery of core instructor skills, including preparation, presentation, communication, facilitation and evaluation in a classroom environment.

Prerequisites:

There are no pre-requisites for the CompTIA CTT+ Certification.
We highly recommend substantial knowledge of the skills that will be tested. We would also recommend this certification for IT Professionals who have substantial experience with the basics of Technical Instruction and have some teaching experience in virtual or non-virtual classrooms.
